The Scottish Perinatal Mental Health Care Pathways have been developed to help women, their infants and families, access the most appropriate specialist perinatal and infant mental health care should they require it. For referrers and service providers, they should help guide the development of pathways into care which are responsive to the needs of their local population and service organisation.
This care should be available wherever a woman lives in Scotland.
Perinatal Mental Health Network
Maternal Mental Health Scotland welcome the development of these pathways and thank the Perinatal Mental Health Network for their work.
