Education and resources about perinatal mental health


New Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Training from NHS Education Scotland

NHS Education for Scotland have launched two new modules to help health professionals working with women and families to support their mental health. They are part of the work being done to support the Scottish Government’s Perinatal Mental Health Programme.

Essential Introduction to Perinatal Mental Health and Keeping Baby in Mind are aimed at staff in Specialist Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Services.

The modules require a TURAS login, and are open to NHS and those working in third sector services. You can sign up for this here.

The modules assume some previous knowledge and experience, so you may wish to begin with these modules, launched in 2015.
